LG Optimus One Tips “ Flash back to original Firmware
This tutorial explains how to flash your LG Optimus One P500 back to original firmware using the KDZ firmware updater from this site. With this tutorial you will be able to upgrade your LG Optimus One P500 from any country. LG Cell Phone Software

You need to download the firmware of your device. Please check here the The_ERROR thread which explains it very well:

Download KDZ updater from here and uncompress it

Install msxml.msi from the uncompressed directory
Connect your device (do not turn on disk storage) and run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe (Has administrator).
Select Type : 3GQCT
Select PhoneMode : DIAG
In KDZ file : Choose the ROM file you downloaded in the first step
Press Launch software update and wait (It will be 10 minutes or so). In your phone it will appear “Emergency mode”. Wait until it reboots. LG Phone Problem and Solution

1. Please download http://www.filesonic.com/file/4165352105/tigru.net_fastboot_LG_P500.zip and unzip it in to any folder.

2. Start LGMDP 1.5 tool with the phone connected (you need to have USB drivers installed) and click on Select Port

3. A separate window should appear like the one below

Just click connect

4. Another window will take shape (LGE Mobile security) with lots of options (links)

Click on the first upper right Browse and select the folder in with you have unzipped the files. You will get some errors that some image, table or headers are missing. Just click OK and in the end everything that should remain selected is Partition TableAPPSBL Image Header and APPSBL Image.
Now just close the window (click on x)

5. Now you are back on the main window and here you’ll have to click on Download

6. You are almost done and from now on everything should go on automatically.

NV Backup

Autorestart in Emergency\Download mode and upgrade the files (you selected on step 4)

NV Restore (the last step) Do not disconnect the USB cable until the restore is done

Wait for the phone to restart in normal mode (your current rom).
That should be everything you need to do to get fastboot enabled.

2. SET YOUR PHONE:
Settings – Applications – Development check on USB debugging
Settings – Storage – check on Unmount SD card
3. RUN ADB
FIRST open a cmd window.
Explore folder Program Files – Android\android-sdk\platform-tools and select adb(adb.exe) and drag and drop to cmd window then click SPACE and write devices and press ENTER
Click arrow up to repeat the previous line but REPLACE WORD devices with shell and press ENTER
Then you must see # and type THIS LINE
echo 1 > /data/local/lge_adb.conf

After that open SuperOneClick and root using pneuter. Reboot phone and update Superuser from Market.

Install Custom recovery on LG OPTIMUS ONE P500
a) Download and install Rom Manager from Market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager&feature=search_result .
b) Open Rom Manager and select the first option – Flash custom recovery – and wait for the result. It will ask at the end for reboot.
After reboot enter Rom Manager and select to test the reboot in Custom Recovery Option.
